“ My parents took great pride in caring for me. Now it’s their turn. With the opening of Countryside Inn I’m certain they’ll get the service and care I expect.”
Countryside Inn Assisted Living was designed to provide you or your loved-one with the as-needed assistance one may want to maintain an independent lifestyle. We offer nutritious meals, housekeeping and laundry service, activities, assistance with medications, medical case management, personalized 24 hour day care and services, and much more for our residents. If memory loss is an issue memory loss we have a Memory Care Unit carefully designed and staffed to serve their special needs in a safe, comfortable, homelike environment.

We practice the “Gentle Care” and :”Best Friends” Philosophy as well as following guidelines and training established by the Alzheimer’s Association. Freedom of movement and choice of activities are paramount to our Memory Care programming.

The care and quality of life you provided for my mother these last three years was excellent. When she and my brother Jim entered Countryside, she was unhappy about leaving her home, but you hung in there and soon Countryside was “home” to her.
The Countryside family—both residents and staff—truly is a family, one which extends to the families of the residents. Every time I visit I am greeted with warm smiles and laughter filled conversation. Something is always happening at CSI where a myriad of activities cross a wide range of interests and talents: quilt-making, canning, pie baking, card and game playing, Wii bowling, exercise class, and, of course, the marvelous “Ding-a-Lings”—the list is endless. My mother particularly enjoyed the children: the children of the staff, the kids from the local schools, and the 3rd graders from Hankinson who visited after becoming pen pals; Countryside is a place kids visit and feel at home. It is a place full of life.
When Mom’s health began to fail, again you didn’t give up. You provided more care than “assisted living” implies and continued to surround her with love. I will always regret that I didn’t arrive before she passed away, but I am comforted that she was in such loving and capable hands. She loved you both and knew you were taking care of her.
My brother Dick and I thank you not only for what you did for Mom, but what you continue to do for my brother Jim and for what you have done for us. Having Mom and Jim at Countryside alleviated the constant worry about falls, poor nutrition, bad weather, ill health and power outages. We knew they would be cared for, doctor’s appointments would be handled and they would be a part of a larger family. And now that Mom is gone, Jim is still home at Countryside; he has become an integral part of that community and feels secure there.
As I have told you before, I know you both have stars in your crowns in heaven. Thank you for being there when we needed you; thank you for continuing your marvelous work.

The refund check is being returned; we didn’t really expect a refund because we felt your care for Mom continued while she was at the local nursing home. Please use these funds as an extra “thank you” to the staff who cared for Mom, for a memorial, or just to continue providing the outstanding quality of care to others in the future – whatever you decide will be fine with us. It is just a small token of our gratitude for the care and concern you provided for Mom and for working with us to facilitate that care. You and your staff played a major part in providing loving care for Mom these past 15 months even though it was a challenge at times; as her family, we re deeply grateful to you and feel she could not have been at a better place. You accepted her at Countryside (August 2006) even though she was wheelchair dependent and carefully worked to restore her mobility. Also, your recommendation of the Rosholt Care Center turned out to be wise; they were very helpful / caring during a very difficult time.
We especially thank you for visiting Mom in her final days; we couldn’t be with her and are grateful you took the time to be there in our place.
