First for Christ, First for You is the motto of our faith family. It tells you that we are a Christ-centered congregation and one that is here to invite, embrace, and compassionately care for you and all of Gods people. We believe strongly that as a family of faith, none of us are the same, but all of us become one through our relationship with our God, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Growing spiritually and putting our faith in action is challenging. Knowing that, the leadership and members at First Presbyterian Church believe strongly that we must educate, empower, equip and employ ourselves as well as those who join us for the journey of faith, whether for a moment or a lifetime. As you look deeper at us, I pray youll find that through groups, small and large, we explore everyday issues in a faith context; express our faith in music, arts, or drama; and humbly serve the needs of those both within and beyond our faith family because of the lessons we have learned, sometimes the hard way, through our walk with Jesus.
