Which Way to the ER? Proving that he is not the sharpest bulb in the drawer, Paul cut off half his left hand with an Exacto knife. Well, not really, but he did get seven stitches and some pain medication. Thank you Dr. Todd Sorenson for your great sewing technique and the prescription.

Christmas Survival in April. The American Advertising Federation has awarded an 8th District Addy Award to Heckel Creative for the design of the 2006 J&L Harley-Davidson Christmas Survival Guide. The entry will be judged in the National Addy Competition.

Pinball Wizard. A vintage 1981 Fireball II pinball machine machine (delivered from Pennsylvania) finds a new home at the studio. Needless to say, my wife was not impressed.

That's a big trophy. Heckel Creative gains recognition in the 27th Annual National Telly Awards Competition. Two :30 television spots, produced for J&L Harley-Davidson of Sioux Falls, received trophies. The Telly Awards, founded in 1978, receives more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.
