Bill Fuller and Susan Sabers formed Fuller & Sabers, LLP, in January 2006 with a goal of building a new practice that reflects their long-held professional values. Each brings unique strengths and perspectives to their partnership, but they share a philosophy that their clients deserve nothing less than thorough preparation and careful advocacy at every stage of representation.
Bill and Susan's partnership marks the convergence of two distinct family legacies in the South Dakota legal community. Bill has been practicing law in South Dakota for 34 years. His father, Howell Fuller, was one of the named partners of Woods, Fuller, Shultz & Smith P.C. and his grandfather, Thad Fuller, practiced railroad law in Milbank and Aberdeen. Bill's great-grandfather, Howard G. Fuller sat on the South Dakota Supreme Court from 1894 to 1908, and his cousin, A. P. Fuller, is presently a circuit court judge in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. Susan is the daughter of Richard Sabers, who currently sits on the South Dakota Supreme Court, and her brother, Michael Sabers, practices law in Rapid City.
Bill and Susan were partners together at the Woods, Fuller law firm before forming Fuller & Sabers. At Fuller & Sabers, they continue to focus their practice on commercial and civil litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury. With their new firm, Bill and Susan are building upon their family legacies of legal excellence, while forging a new tradition of responsive, dedicated service to their clients.
