Coco Palace, the bright diamond on the crown of Rapid city, SD, celebrated her grand opening on Auguest 22, 2007. Since then, the wonderful people of the magnificant Black Hills have been telling one another about the exciting blend of Oriental & Western cuisines (known as "fusion cuisine") that the Coco Palace restauramt specializes in.

The building that Coco Palace nestles in displays the most elegant architectural style in Asian construction -- bright & shiny glazed roof tiles on top of tall columns with Chinese characters on. From the lengthy corridors on both sides or from the main entrance , one enters the spacious restaurant through two hallways illuminated by four chandeliers. After a few steps up the stairs, you will be confronted with a pair of big teapots flanked by two collector's antiques -- huge vases made during the Ming Dynasty (1352 AD --1627 AD)

At the center of the main dining floor is a wine & beer bar with a 50" wide-screen TV to capture exciting sports events, such as the NFL, NBA etc. Adjacent to the wine bar, is the artfully decorated sushi bar.. from there, customers can watch the sushi chefs roll up their food in a matter of minutes.

Available on the menu of Coco Palace, one can choose between the richly-flavored , spice-loaded Thai dishes such as Chicken Mussamun(or yellow curry chicken), the authentic skillfully hand-rolled sushi items, such as spicy tuna roll and the entertaining Hawaii Roll or classic Chinese dishes such as sesame chicken and beef with broccoli. The unique restaurant also serves all - American items such as New York strip steak or catch of the day-salmon with the popular lemon butter sauce or Thai spicy sauce.

Our extensive wine selection boasts a long list of special reserved wines, including the unique red wine of Chateau St. Michelle Columbia Valley Merlot produced in California and frequently ordered with wine--Kendal Jackson chardonay. At the end of the meal, you can't help ordering our famous and irresistable delicious dessert - Banana Flamebe, which is cooked by the server right by your table, the most unforgetable part is the fragrant hot & moist towels used either for cleaning messy fingers or for wiping the face.
