Experience - Impressions Photography is a family business owned and operated by Rick and Janella Mathiesen since 1986. Janella is the creative director and is responsible for arranging individuals and groups for your wedding day portraits. She is very particular, especially regarding the brides dress and flowers. When Janella has everything arranged just right, Rick captures the image. This business is operated on a part-time basis with full-time dedication. This team approach to photographing your wedding will help put the bride and groom at ease and make the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone.

Attitude - Rick and Janella concentrate on recording beautiful images of your wedding day without dominating the whole experience. Once again, the team approach allows us to get more done in less time than photographers that work alone. We remember that this is the bride and grooms day, not the photographers.

Performance - Many of our new clients are referred to us by friends that we have photographed in the past. There is no greater satisfaction than having someone like your work well enough to tell their friends about you. We also have other photographers referring clients to us if they are unavailable. Having other photographers confident enough in our quality and value is important to us and we strive to earn that confidence.

Competitive Pricing - In a market with a wide range of photography services, it can be difficult to know if you get what you pay for. Impressions Photography is operated from our home and since we do not have the overhead of a separate building and all the other associated costs, we feel we provide a high quality product at a fair price. When you compare costs, remember, with Impressions Photography you get the full attention of both Rick and Janella from the beginning of the initial consultation through the delivery of your finished photographs!

The Right Stuff - From the camera and lighting equipment lighting to professional photo finishing, Impressions Photography uses only the best available. We use high quality digital camera equipment to provide more creative and fun photographs. Studio style strobe lights provides soft lighting that is much more flattering than the harsh light from a small on-camera flash.

Our Royal Wedding Plan includes creating formal and candid portraits of the bride and groom, wedding party and family members prior to the ceremony. We will include a mix of traditional and candid poses of events before and during the wedding ceremony. We will photograph each important event during the ceremony including your vows, exchanging of rings and your first kiss as newlyweds. We will also photograph events up to and including the wedding couple leaving the church.

In addition to all of your 4 X 6 photographs, this plan includes 1 - 8 X 10 and 4 - 5 X 7 prints of your choice!

Our Ultimate Wedding Plan includes everything offered in the Royal Plan plus photographs at a location of your choice on the way to your wedding reception and photographs at the reception. Most of the reception photographs will be completed prior to dinner being served so you may enjoy the rest of your celebration. We will continue to take candid photographs during and after dinner.

In addition to all of your 4 X 6 photographs, this plan includes 1 - 11 X 14, 2 - 8 X 10, and 4 - 5 X 7 prints of your choice!

We will edit, crop, and retouch all of your images and include a mix of color, black and white, sepia tone, and spot coloring to give you a wonderful variety of photographs.
