Welcome to the Dog Guard Pet Fencing home page! My name is Jeff Hansen and I am the owner of the Dog Guard dealership that is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Along with my trusty sidekick, Molly, I install and service both outdoor and indoor Dog Guard pet containment systems within approximately 100 miles of the Sioux Falls area. But our work has only just begun at the conclusion of the installation. You see, we also assist by training you, and your pet, to use your new Dog Guard equipment safely and effectively. Molly is a integral part of the training process and comes with me to your home to "proof" your dog on his system by running in and out of your yard and taunting your dog. This proofing session is done at the conclusion of the training process and is your dog's final test in his training.

Now meet the future of Dog Guard Pet Fencing... Cocoa, a Small Munsterlander Pointer (SMP) that is 7 weeks old in this photo. She is SMP #1,928 to receive NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) registration. Although the breed has been around in Germany and other parts of Europe since the 13th or 14th century, it is fairly new to North America. But the breed is now in demand and growing rapidly in popularity. Cocoa will be trained to take over when Molly is forced to retire due to age issues.
